How to gain access to Outlook Web Access using HTTPS
Solution
If you’ve recently been unable to get on Outlook Web Access it may be because SSL has been added onto your server. SSL is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral. Previously you were using HTTP://, now you use HTTPS://.
If you put
https://mail.companyname.com/exchange,
(companyname=your company) then you should be prompt to enter a username and password:
Enter your username and password you use to login onto Outlook Web Access.
